Sweet and Sassy is a children's salon, spa and party place with a full retail store. We are looking for an outgoing, upbeat, and friendly new Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist to add to our staff. Must love working with children and parents as well as have a great deal of patience! We are a fast moving, very busy salon and our new candidate must be reliable as well as have reliable transportation. This position does require that you work on the weekends! We have full and part-time positions available. There is also an opportunity of advancement to Salon Manager. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensures salon is clean by working with team members to complete daily/weekly salon duties, coordinates with salon staff to provide assistance for the sales and the introduction of products/services, identifies/coordinates and implements necessary tools for providing outstanding customer service to internal/external customers, provides outstanding customer service, maintains solid knowledge of packages/services and products, stocks/processes new and existing inventory items, maintains a sales quota, adheres to a work schedule defined by management and other salon personnel, communicates with clients to ensure their clear understanding of services/prices/and what they are expecting, complies with all company policies and standards as related to all customer service issues, helps out in other areas of the salon in down time, adheres by ALL OSHA standards, and understands that you will work in the salon and spa area.Qualifications required are:Cosmetology License from MI, excellent interpersonal skills, multi-task orientated, must have a flexible schedule and available on certain holidays, able to work with all textures of hair, creative, previous salon experience preferred but not necessary.
