Representative needed to manage the international student exchange program in Birmingham and/or surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for an outgoing, organized and resourceful individual who enjoys working with youth and families. Responsibilities include: * Recruiting, screening and orienting volunteer host families * Providing ongoing support to the students and host families throughout the high school year * Working closely with local high schools and community resources. Qualifications: * Must be at least 25 years of age * Willing to commit to working from the present date until June 2014. Time commitment is ~ 5-6 hrs per month* Ability to network in the community to promote the program and find volunteer host families* Clean background check* Must love teens, have excellent communication skills and daily access to a computer and printer* High School diploma * Preference will be given to those with hosting experience or those willing to host an exchange student in their home.Please visit us online at www.americanhostfamily.org and fill out our International Coordinator application.Be a Part of Positive Change!
